Suunto t6 tools

I record and analyze my running training with the Suunto t6 watch in combination with the foot POD. Unfortunately, the delivered Trainins Manager Software (STM) doesn't do the job very well yet. This maybe change in the future. My 5 cents to enhance the analyze of log files is a data structure description of the STM and sample code to get the data into MS Excel.

STM Version 2.0.2

In the STM\data directory you will find all recorded data.

training.mdb is a MS Access file which contains all the meta information about the athlet, trainings programs and your workouts. If you have MS Access installed you can read the data in an easy way, The table and field names are self explaining (more or less)

Logxxx.dat files contains detail about a workout. These data is stored in a structured binary format.

All file are zipped MS Excel file:

STM Version 1.3.4

You vill find in the STM directory a MS Access file with the name t6.sdb. All data is stored in it, only the milli seconds between each heart beat is stored in Logxxx.ibi file (STM\data directory).

All file are zipped MS Excel file:
